- Designer
This is a full-time, on-site Designer role based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for fire protection systems. Key responsibilities include utilizing design software to produce accurate plans, collaborating with project teams, verifying plans for compliance with industry standards, and making adjustments based on client or engineer feedback.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software, including CAD tools
- Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural plans
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in fire protection design or related fields is a plus
- Familiarity with local building and fire codes is advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications or coursework in drafting/design or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
- Estimator
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Estimator, based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Construction Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost and project estimates, analyzing project specifications, and working collaboratively with clients and team members to plan budgets. The role requires managing cost controls, ensuring accurate calculations, and supporting project operations to meet objectives efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation
- Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting techniques
- Strong Communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of fire protection systems or construction industry is a plus
- Proficiency with estimation software and tools is preferred
- Service Technician
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sprinkler Service Technician, based in Grand Rapids, MI. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting automatic fire sprinkler systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, addressing field service needs, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
- Familiarity with Field Service practices and ability to work hands-on in diverse environments
- Strong Customer Service abilities to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Additional experience in preventive Maintenance to enhance system reliability is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Relevant certifications in fire protection systems are a plus
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
